http://autorotatesflyingcircus.blogspot.com/2008/08/to-...erate-democrats.html At about 9:35 PM EST last night, it became crystal clear that the heads and powers to be in the Democrat party made a huge mistake in turning its back on Hillary Clinton and her followers. It may be a sign that the apocalypse may be upon us when I find myself rooting for Hillary and her supporters, but more than likely, it is a representation of how far left and how for lunatic-fringe the Obama camp that has hijacked the Democrat party has become. Hillary gave the speech she had to give last night, but it was a speech that endorsed a Democrat in the White House much more so than Obama, and rightfully so. Earlier in the day, her husband, former President Bill Clinton questioned in a speech whether it "Is better to vote for a candidate who you agree with on every issue, but can't deliver on his promises (Obama) or to vote for a candidate who you disagree with on some, but will get the job done (McCain)." I never thought I would hear myself saying this, but when it comes down to it, the better of the two candidates in the Democrat party didn't win. To make matters worse, she wasn't even paid her due respect in the VP selection process and the real losers out of all of this are the blue-collar Democrats who make up the majority of her base. Many of us now in the Republican party were born into blue-collar families and still fit into that category. Many are the sons and daughters of steel workers, coal miners, meat packers, foundry workers, truck drivers, laborers and seamstresses. Good, wholesome, hard-working, God fearing Americans, just like many of those who represent the blue-collar sector today. We weren't all born with silver spoons in our mouths as the fringe elements of the left would like you to believe. We didn't have it all handed to us. Most of us, like you, are still working hard, day in and day out to reach for the aspirations and dreams that have made this country what it is today. This is why, today, I am making and emphatic push, and drive of the utmost importance, to welcome those blue-collar Democrats, those disillusioned and disenfranchised, those misled and misrepresented, to our party. It is a sad commentary that the party of Kennedy that asked us to think not of what our country could do for us, but we could do of our country, has been hijacked by those who believe it is the government's sole purpose to create a womb to tomb free-ride for those with no desire to work, courtesy of those same hard working men and women who make up the blue-collar component of the Democratic party's tax dollars. It is a sad day that the party of Roosevelt, who rose up and fought steadfastly against Nazi fascism and Japanese religiously fueled extremism to defend this great nation and protect democracy and freedom around the world has been taken over by fringe groups who resorted to encouraging cowardice is in the face of the greatest threat to this civilization since Hitler rolled into Poland. And lastly, we should all weep that a party that once truly stood for the little guy, the working man and woman, has succumb to elitists with hidden agendas and activists of groups whose agendas are far from the moral and spiritual integrity of the common church going and American proud Democrat. This is truly not the same Democrat part, the party that many of us in the Republican parties fathers and mother's believed in. Zell Miller recognized this in 2004, a life-long Democrat statesman. Sen Joe Lieberman recognized this during primary election, where the party who he gave a career of lifelong support and service to, who reached across the aisle to accomplish the goals of the American people, turned their back on him, because he wasn't far enough left, or didn't cater to the fringe elements of the party. Despite of that, Liebermen went on to win election as an Independant, and will likely announce his affiliation to the Republican party next week during the RNC. Yes, to this my friends, I welcome you. Now many of you have heard that the Republican party only cares about giving tax breaks to the rich. This is partially true, but only because the Republican party believes that all tax payers in America deserve to pay less taxes, poor and rich alike. We cannot continue to punish who those in the extreme left considers to be rich, for we will end up killing the goose that laid the golden egg. On health care, you've heard that Obama can provide you with free health care. But, I ask you this, is it any better have a health care program that is substandard in quality and takes months if not years to receive critical treatment, and costs the working man and woman more money in taxes than if they had bought a plan on their own? Is it fair that the family who is struggling to make ends meet on their own pay tax dollars not only for their own health care but for those who have no interest in working and contributing at all? And on national defense, can we trust that Obama has the experience to deal with crisis of grand scale, not if, but when they occur? There is no better testament to the success of our men in women in uniform that we have not had another attack on American soil since 2001, and for extremists to sabotage and undermine many of the blue-collar Democrats own sons and daughters, serving in the ranks today, is criminal. No, America, this is not the same Democrat Party. This truly is a party where the will of a few is carried out in the name of the many. Let us on reach across the aisle again, just as Sen. John McCain has done so many times during his many years in the Senate, to come together, to work for the common good and safety of the great country. A country not for the fringe, the or the extremists, or the anarchists, or the socialists, or the elitists, but a country of the people, a country for the people and a country by the people. My hat is off to you Fly. Anyone who has the courage to stand up and call a spade a spade gets my respect. I don't think I would have ever admited to giving any support to the Clinton clan, but I understand the reasoning. I would rather have Bush for another 8 years before having someone (dem or rep) with as little experience as Obama in politics.

Are you seriously comparing Osama Bin Laden OR Saddam Hussein to Adolf Hitler? I couldn't help but notice that George W. Bush wasn't mentioned ONCE during the entire Republican convention. He is the second President in history to NOT attend his parties convention. (The other was Lyndon Johnson) At least the Democrats had the decency to invite Hillary to attend. You also haven't mentioned good ole GW in this post either. As a Republican shouldn't you be asking why YOUR party would reject a member just because he has the lowest approval rating of any President in US history? Why don't you "reach across the aisle" to GW & Dick before opening your pie hole about another candidate or party? The Bush administration has secured it's place in history. We can agree on this, right? Bottom line - You voted for an idiot who's screwed up everything he's touched in the last 8 years and you are trying to cloud the issue by posting this dribble. I personally would have rather had someone just flip a coin the last 8 years. At least they would have gotten it right 50% of the time.... |

Bottom line - You voted for an idiot who's screwed up everything he's touched in the last 8 years and you are trying to cloud the issue by posting this dribble. The remark was "in the face of the greatest threat to this civilization since Hitler rolled into Poland." Are the religious fanatics that were, and are, responsible for the attacks of cowardice around the world and here at home not the greatest threat to our civilization? In regards to the "Idiot" comment, I feel that Bush has done the best with what has been handed to him. A hell of a lot of blame is placed upon the shoulders on one individual when we all know that the President is not the only one to blame for decisions that in hindsight went wrong. There is a democrat controlled house and senate. Is it not? Do we not have a set of checks and balances so that no one individual has control. You sir/mam may think he was a poor choice and approval ratings may show him in a not so favorable light but what President has ever pleased all the people? I think history will show an individual with courage and determination to try and defeat an enemy that will plague our future for many years to come. I shutter to think that some in society would rather filp a coin and gamble on our security. I prefer to sleep easy at night knowing that at least the fighting is going on over there and not here. Bush/Cheney '08 would suit me fine. |

When you say "religious fanatics"... Are you referring to theirs or OURS?
Do you honestly believe that Bush "did the best with what has been handed to him"? 1) Iraq was NOT handed to him. 2) Haliburton was NOT handed to him. 3) Katrina (Michael Brown fiasco) was NOT handed to him. 4) Valarie Plame was NOT handed to him (That was treason by definition). 5) Attempting to sell US ports to the U.A.E. was NOT handed to him. 6) Illegally wire tapping American citizens without probable cause was NOT handed to him. 7) Redefining the definition of torture was NOT handed to him. History will not view him (or his administration) for anything more than what it was. A crony capitalist regime in which the richest one percent were allowed to rob the middle and lower classes through fear mongering. |

well lets review your choices...
Iraq. country with a history of violence against its own people and it's neighbors, according to intelligence handed down, in bed with a common enemy. Seems like a logical decision to act against them to me given circumstances of the day. Haliburton. Do you honestly expect every person/corporation to do what you may think is the right thing for the general population? Remember that this is a corporation that is for profit and didn't go into Afganistan or Iraq on a not for profit basis. I fail to see how this is on Bush's hands. Katrina...Well I hardly think that Bush intended any ill-will towards the citizens of New Orleans. Someone must be put in charge and if that person does a poor job then another should replace them. Again hard to see how Bush can micro-manage every thing. Valarie Plame....Don't know enough to comment on. There must be a group of individuals somewhere with an agenda behind the sale of ports. Again that is why we have a system of checks and balances to let common sense or better judgement prevail. Illegal wire taps...given the time frame of the event I would be willing to allow most any form of survalence to help protect our citizens. Remember that the Japs in America were sent to camps at the onset of WW2. That wasn't too popular then either but was thought necessary for protection. Redefining definitions is a joke in every sense. I don't give a flip what happens to an enemy of mine when he/she is detained. Did you happen to catch the video on ogrish.com of the American contractor who was beheaded at the hands of terrorists? Maybe they should redefine what torture is, or maybe we should just start by chopping their heads off and being done with it... I have seen many a President in office. It is a job that I wouldn't want. You mentioned a few problems that Bush has had to face while in office. Stop a minute and think about how you would have handled them at the time they happened. Pretty easy to judge as a monday morning arm chair quarterback but not so easy a task when faced with the problem at the moment they occur. If the richest one percent pays for the majority of our countries handouts, I say give them the choices of how their money should be spent. Stop trying to enslave American's who work and manage thier money and lives by giving entitlements to those who do nothing to contribute to societies well being. |

Yes this would seem like a logical decision. However it was proven to be a complete and utter LIE. Remember the CIA chief (George Tenet) was forced to resign over it? Then he went to the media and stated that Donald Rumsfeld (remember him) pressured him to falsify the intelligence reports. George Tenet released his memoirs in April 2007 which clearly document that most of the intelligence presented about Iraq concerning Yellow Cake Uranium, WMD's and ties to Al-Qaeda were completely fabricated. The name of his book is: At the Center of the Storm: My Years at the CIA Haliburton - Yes they are a for profit company. The problem I have is that in Iraq the for profit employees (Military security) are being paid $120K+ a year (tax free) while OUR military service men and women are being paid far less for doing the SAME JOB. Maybe you don't know or talk to any military personnel but I do and publicily they won't discuss it but privately they're pretty pissed off about the situation. They took an oath to serve our country and this is how we reward them? By funneling money to private corporations like Black Water and Haliburton while OUR own troops are reduced to wearing body armor that had to be purchased by their own families. Go find a vet who served in Iraq and ask them how they REALLY feel. Katrina - Before joining the DHS/FEMA, Brown was the Judges and Stewards Commissioner for the International Arabian Horse Association, (IAHA), from 1989-2001. After numerous lawsuits were filed against the organization over disciplinary actions, Brown was forced to resign. A person who couldn't cut it as a "Judge and Stewards Commissioner" isn't qualified to manage a natural disaster. This isn't Monday morning quarterbacking, it's common sense. Valarie Plame - Google it. Sale of ports to U.A.E. - The group of individuals behind it was the Bush Administration. Illegal wire taps and redefining torture - That's a pretty caviler attitude you have on this subject. The Patriot Act grants these "special privilidges" to be used on anyone deemed an enemy combatant (even American citizens). This includes YOU and ME. Because there is no definition of exactly what an "enemy combatant" is.
This is fear mongering rheritic - The richest one percent DO NOT pay most of the taxes. They have shelters and loop holes that shield much of their income from taxation. Most of the tax revenue is derived from the middle class. The Bush Administration has done nothing to stop entitlements to those who do nothing to contribute to societies well being. When Bush took office 8 years ago a gallon of gasoline averaged $1.59 per Gallon, now 8 years later it averages $4.00 per Gallon. Maybe your pay check went up that much but mine didn't. Who's enslaving who? |

I will agree to just disagree with the previous comments regarding our current Preisdent. But I will leave this comment that I saw on a bumper sticker today: Irritate a liberal, get up, go to work, be happy and succeed. A quick question for those listening...No one seems satisfied with the present administration, could you guys/gals give me some other past administration as to guide me in knowing what one is supposed to look like? This ought to be good....

Yes, Yes I can .... That would be the administration of JEFFERSON DAVIS. AS for John McCain, I could never say anything negative about a War Vet. and P.O.W. They all receive my utmost respect. Liberals vote and don't own guns. If you thought those were Liberal comments I made earlier (you're getting colder). Try going back to Conservative and taking a hard right....LMAO!! |
