Polish Nook is on Cuddaback Ave. I think they are only open for catering or something like that. Best fish fries on the Polish side of town!

I left the falls in '61, but I'll take a guess at Henry's Hamburgers. Could it have been on Pine Ave. near Military, about where McDonalds is now? I remeber going there, that was a looong time ago.

**BONK** No. Henry's Hamburgers was on Pine Avenue, but it was located not to far from Mario's. Today, it is an Eye Center (Fliche Eye Center), I may have the name wrong.

1961? You been away longer than I've been alive... WOW!

Next one: Where was Curtis Photography located?

Trippies was over by Royal Ave on Hyde Park. Mom used to shop there all the time.

Hmmmmm... I'm gonna say...uhhhh, hmmmm....

It was at the Pointe Mall across from the Winter Garden... I remember there was a Chinese Restaurant in there... Am I right?

I'll leave you with one: Where was The House of Chan Chinese Restaurant? Bonus: Where was Wacky World for Kids located? I'll give you a hint: They were located right next to each other. One is closed, one burned.

Nope. It was next door to the Bowl-O-Drome on Pine and 27th.

You're stumping me with these. I guess having been away from NF for 13 years is clouding the ol' memory banks.

Here's another. How about 'The Gill Creek Inn"?

Put your thinking caps on. Worth 50 points.

More specifically I believe that was an Acme Food Mart that became the actual rink back when Tops was where the Dollar General now which was previously a Brand Names Store. And there WAS a Henry’s there as well next to LaSalle HS. <G>

Gill Creek In? Hyde Park Blvd?

I remember Acme Supermarkets. There was one where Super Duper was on Pina Avenue, and another one was right next to Wilson Farms on 18th Street, which is now the Wilson Farm's parking lot.

Does anyone remember where Grants and Twin Fair was?

The Gill Creek Inn (now, or was, Kobans last time I visited) was located on Niagara Street between 30th and 31st. Right next to the park.

Twin Fair was between Packard and Porter right across from the chemical dump. Around the corner from Sam's, I think.

Twin fair was right where you remember it. Grants was where Hills was, and now it's Big Lots. I remember when Gold Circle first opened. I even have the Gazette article.

Does anyone know where Luzi's Ice Cream used to be?

Hyde Park Blvd. right across the street from the stadium. Many trips made there after baseball games. Would also stop in at Signori's next to Sammy's for a cheap bottle of pop.
