The last I saw his place was on Hyde Park Blvd. not too far from Niagara. I would alway chuckle as I passed it on the way to classes at NU.

It was at the Pointe Mall across from the Winter Garden... I remember there was a Chinese Restaurant in there... Am I right?

I'll leave you with one: Where was The House of Chan Chinese Restaurant? Bonus: Where was Wacky World for Kids located? I'll give you a hint: They were located right next to each other. One is closed, one burned.

Nope. It was next door to the Bowl-O-Drome on Pine and 27th.

You're stumping me with these. I guess having been away from NF for 13 years is clouding the ol' memory banks.

Here's another. How about 'The Gill Creek Inn"?

I rememeber grant's from going with my gram and she used to save the green stamps, and twin fair I remember because my cuz Buddy worked there for years until they closed.

Gill Creek In? Hyde Park Blvd?

I remember Acme Supermarkets. There was one where Super Duper was on Pina Avenue, and another one was right next to Wilson Farms on 18th Street, which is now the Wilson Farm's parking lot.

Does anyone remember where Grants and Twin Fair was?

Does anyone know where Luzi's Ice Cream used to be?

Luzi's used to be where Scobby's ice cream is now on Hyde Prk across form The stadium. That was a long time ago.

Hyde Park Blvd. right across the street from the stadium. Many trips made there after baseball games. Would also stop in at Signori's next to Sammy's for a cheap bottle of pop.

You left in 1972? That's quite a long time. I remember Beirs and Sam Paul's, but that's it.

How about Movie Time Video on Pine, the one on Military, and Hyde Park Blvd? Used to rent from there all the time, until they closed because of Blockbuster gobbling everything up.

WOW Capecod! You must have some great stories to tell. Stay online with us. I grew up in the 70s and 80s, and a lot of you have me stumped. Niagara Falls must have been a wonderful place.

Does anyone remember the name of the convenience store where Ventry's Pizza is now. It was open in the 70s. I remember going there with my family when we went for bike rides.

Junior Highs are no more. North Junior was closed and torn down for no good reason.

In the 80s we used to go to Shop N' Dine on Hyde Park Blvd, for Chicken Wings and Curly Fries. Greasiest food you ever ate...

Capecod, I remember some of those places. My grandparents and my aunt lived on Pierce Ave. and I remember the Pierce Ave. bridge. We lived in LaSalle and went to Hyde Park often. We had picnics and family reunions there. The north and south end were much different places. Lots of stores and people. There was even an underground restroom on Falls St. Remember that?
