Who else knows what "McQ" stood for?

McQ was shortend from McQuestion. The owners name. (I might have the spelling wrong). I went to Niagara University with one of the kids. Aleen was her name, if I remember correctly. I Graduated from Niagara in 1984.

Does anyone remember the pizza place on main street with the lady (owner) who had the eye patch? This was sometime between 1980-1984. Great pizza! What was the name of that place?

Hey M Shawdow....
What year did you work at Neisner's? Were you there when the store got robbed and it turned out to be one of the floor walkers and his brother-in-law? Turned out they had been robbing tons of places and had the goods stashed in a garage on 19th street somewhere. I remember the downstairs of Neisner's....you did a good job.

Does anybody remember Kinan's, it was located on Main Street and they had the VERY best hot fudge sundae in the world. One of the boys was a school teacher and his mother made the homemade fudge sauce...YUM

Trivbug-
It would have been '68, when I was 16. No, I wasn't there when it robbed. The only person I really remember who also worked there was Elise Baraskas )sp?) who graduated from NFHS with me.

My cousin Joanie's husband's family owned Strand Drugs in the South End

Sorry, I don't remember a place called Kinan's. As for the best hot fudge sunday..... it was made at the Bellevue Candy Shop on the south side of Main Street between Division Ave. and South Ave. Is that the place you meant?

I was thinking the same thing myself earlier today. Wasn't it on the corner of Spruce & Main?

Speaking of getting old...that I can identify with, but it sure beats the alternative..:-)
btw.....If I recall correctly, you were in the class of 74 at BDHS, were you not ? I would have been in that same class, but transferred to NFHS in 73.....
