In September 2008, it was learned that Obama, during his first three years in the Senate (2005-2008), had received more political contribution money ($126,349) from those two sources (Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac) than had any other legislator except Connecticut Senator Christopher Dodd, who had been in Congress continuously for 33 years.

Obama replied to McCain as follows: “The only involvement I’ve had with ACORN was I represented them alongside the U.S. Justice Department in making Illinois implement a motor voter law that helped people get registered at DMVs…. ACORN is a community organization. Apparently what they’ve done is they were paying people to go out and register folks, and apparently some of the people who were out there didn’t really register people, they just filled out a bunch of names. It had nothing to do with us. We were not involved.” He said nothing about the years he had spent training ACORN activists; nothing about the laudatory statements he had made about ACORN in the recent past; and nothing about the $800,000+ his campaign had given to the ACORN front group "Citizens' Services Inc." for "election services" in 2008.

In fiscal year 2008, Obama was the sole Senate sponsor of 29 earmarks whose aggregate sum was $10.7 million. Earmarks are often informal quid pro quo arrangements, where recipients show gratitude by giving money to the political official who steered the earmarks their way. For example, after Obama inserted earmarks into a 2008 defense appropriations bill, the recipients sent $16,000 in contributions to Obama's presidential campaign.

Obama supports an initiative known as the Global Poverty Act (GPA), which, if signed into law, would compel the U.S. President to develop “and implement” a policy to “cut extreme global poverty in half by 2015 through aid, trade, debt relief,” and other means.

John & Second Wife Cindy Lou McCain buddied up in the Bahamas w/ convicted fraud & racketeer Charles Keating, a prime contributor to what history will call one of the largest financial debacles in American history. Keating's son-in-law was also convicted on three counts of fraud.

The surname of Keating's son-in-law is Wurzelbacher, a most interesting coincidence given that Joe The Plumber previously lived in Arizona & Joe The Plumber's surname is also Wurzelbacher.

Besides palling around w/ these convicted criminals, not to mention the treasonous felon G Gordon Liddy, John McCain's pal Palin has actively supported the Alaskan Independence Party which would have that state secede from our sacred Union in defiance of the sacrifice America made by purchasing Seward's Folly as a long-term investment.

McCain of course now pals around w/ the Communists in Viet Nam despite claiming to have fought for "our freedom" in losing the Sixties-era war. Since McCain's crowd lost that war, how is it our freedom was endangered by Viet Nam?

John McCain also calls Colombia, cocaine lord to the world, his idea of a friendly neighbor. The only countries McCain has visited since claiming the GOP nomination have been the narco-economies of Colombia & Mexico. Where do most of the narco-dollars go to be "washed"? You guessed it -- to Las Vegas, a desert's hop, skip, & jump from McCain's Arizona.

Joe the "plumber" implanted himself at the rope line & asked Obama about his tax plan & made up the story that he was going to buy a business worth over $250K & how he would be unduly taxed in this venture all the while knowing that he was being filmed. To be honest if my taxes are going to go towards paying for abortions for people on welfare (like Obama plans) I won't be paying them either.

Actually, this Republican is voting against Hussein Obama because he's associated with domestic terrorists, he has connections with Muslims, he believes in murdering babies, taking my money and giving it to people to lazy to work, but mainly, he wants to destroy the values and freedoms of this country instead of going back to his tribe in Kenya and playing like their Messiah! He certainly isn't sent to this earth by God!

Right on, Stace. A prime reason John McCain has lost the support of good people like GOP darling General Colin Powell is that he pals around w/ losers & worrywarts whose lame criticisms of Moslems & the rest of the world ring hollower & hollower. Most Americans are tired of same old McSame since the Sixties & have no hangups about accepting a change.

These stickers are starting to show up on the back window of pickup trucks all over Daviess County. Too bad but Obama is not very well liked in Daviess County. I predict, and the polls show, that Obama will be a big time loser on election day in Daviess County.
