Washingtonians beleaguered by big-business approaches to governance felt encouraged after reviewing gubernatorial front-runner Jill Long Thompson's expertise & credentials when she visited The White Steamer this week:

Imagine a Governor w/ top-level experience in Rural Development! Thompson's candidacy likely benefits from the buzz Indiana's Primary of last May caused when Woman of the Year Hillary Clinton famously went mano-a-mano w/ Hoosier Neighbor Barack Obama.

The only benefit gubernatorial candidate Jill Long Thompson receives from visiting Washington is people will recognize the name when she visits again in 2012 running to succeed Mitch Daniels.
