JBnww, where do I need to drop off the buck you are demanding for your recipes when I am in town on Monday?

Here are my frightening fingers cookies. I do not make them green unless I am doing grinch fingers.

Mageepet, just wanted to let you know I made the pumpkin dump cake last week and it was a big hit. My hubby said he liked it better than pumpkin pie!! WinkThanks for sharing the recipe, he has requested this for Thanksgiving this year instead of pie. Now off to copy the pumpkin fudge recipe. I have had pumpkin fudge and it is very good, but never had a recipe for it, now I can make it as well. Thanks for that one jbnww.

Also not sure who shared the white chili recipe awhile back, but it was also wonderful. My spouse was skeptical at first (saying umm chili does not have sausage in it yada yada yada) but he certainly managed to put plenty of it away the day I made it. So thanks to whomever shared that recipe

hold onto that buck,, i might be coming your way. soon i will probably be making a trip to kansas, it was up in the air as to if it was going to be sunday or monday or which day this week, now it could be next week.

your fingers look pretty good, i have seen that recipe on the net. i like the mummy hotdog wraps. so did you make the pumpkin fudge? from the recipe i posted. was it any good?? personally i like about any kind of fudge. i used to have a recipe for cherry mash, that tasted like the real cherry mash. the center was cooked like a cherry fudge.and the coating was just peanuts and chocolate., but the cherry center has to be cooked, and i don't remember exactly how much of what i need. it takes marshmallow"s, cherries, cherry chips, sweet condensed milk sugar ect. taste just like the ones in the store. i found recipes that were close.

i might have to make some popcorn balls sometime this week. gotta figure out what kind of candy to hand out for the treaters this year.i'm kinda tired of the same ole same ole halloween candy.

Blondie so glad you enjoyed the pumpkin dump cake and the white chili recipes. I passed your compliments on to the lady I got the dump cake recipe from.
The pumpkin fudge I made was not from jbnww's recipe but an easier one for me that I found on allrecipes.com. Basically you stir the things in a few time at a time, boil the ingredients for 18 minutes. Add the last of the ingredients, and stir well, pour into a pan to set up. I will post it later as I get time, we have a new washer and dryer and will be taking care of installing them later this evening.
Thanks again for the feedback.

You are most welcome Mageepet and thanks again for sharing. I will look for the recipe when you have the time to post it later on for the pumpkin fudge. I thought it might have been you that posted the white chili recipe, my hubby said, "Now thats a keeper" lol. Lucky for me he is always willing to try new recipes. Have fun setting up the new washer and dryer tonight.

Prince and I set up the washer and dryer over the last couple of hours with a minimum of sniping and yelling so I will call it a success. The washer is happily washing away now. Thanks to my daughter for a lovely present!
Here is the promised recipe.
PUMPKIN FUDGE

2 Tablespoons butter
2 1/2 cups white sugar
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1 cup white chocolate chips
7 ounce jar marshmallow creme
3/4 cup of canned pumpkin
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

DIRECTIONS:
1. LIne a 9x9 pan with aluminum foil, and set aside.
2. In a 3 quart saucepan, heat milk and sugar over medium heat. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionall with a wooden spoon.
3. Mix in pumpkin puree and cinnamon; bring back to a boil. Stir in marshamallow creme and butter. Bring to a rolling boil. cook, stirring occasionally, for 18 minutes.
4. Remove from heat, and add white chocolate chips and vanilla. Stir until creamy and all chips are melted. POur into prepared pan. Cool, remove from pan, and cut into squares. Store in a cool dry place.

Being the old grinch I am, I don't pass out candy on Halloween. Rather, I elect to just make goody boxes for the kids in my family and close friends circle. I have just finished stocking up some of those with my goodies of pumpkin, plus some marshmallow ghosties and frightening fingers.
I have never had a kid give it back yet!

LOL, I once was delivering a present to my great niece on her b-day and heard her daddy say to her mommy as I came up the sidewalk. Look it is you aunt! Do you think she cooked us something?
