Vulgar? I have heard about vulgar amounts of money. I personally have not seen vulgar amounts of money, but could probably be convinced to stand the shame of it if I could even have a little bit of vulgar money. FT, do you think that is the "filthy lucre" that we used to hear about in church all the time?

Filthy lucre?

Did any of the pastors use terminology like that?

I do remember Walter's "suppository-type sermons." ROTF.

Yes,before Walters, I believe it was Clayton. Possibly before your time.

We caught a few years of Clayton, but I was pretty young. He did come back and officiate at our wedding as I did not want a military ceremony. Smiler

Hargraves was also really big into wives submitting to their husbands. He preached that sermon pretty regularly.

I don't remember a lot about Hargraves, perhaps, I was not being submissive enought to listen well.
