Ain't it the truth, MCgonser. I pay natural gas by averaging. The same amount for 12 months and then it re-evaluated according to the last years bills. Last year at this time, my gas bill was dropped 30 dollars per month. Then we had the really bad winter with extreme cold and the ice storm, no electricity for a week, and no way to keep our pipes from freezing but turning on the natural gas stoves and keeping them cranked. Yesterday, I got my new averaging and it has been raised 50 dollars a month. So, I will be hyperventilating for awhile about my gas bill.
