I do as well.

Senator McCain conceded just a few minutes ago, he was a class act in his speech.

Bush said he had a mandate. I believe America spoke today with a true mandate and I pray the start of a positive new direction.

Now I'll toast one.

Yes, much to his credit John McCain was a class act in giving his concension speech.
But I don't feel like being a class act. I hope all of you who are partying gag on your beer and drinks!

McCain was graceful tonight. His supporters weren't willing to give up the hateful rhetoric they were fed by McPalin.

Damn! This beer is smooth!!

Good one Taxpayer1.
Gov. Palin will run for POTUS in 2012.
So, put that in your pipe and smoke it,
just so you stuff legal and not illegal into
your pipe.

I don't smoke a pipe or anything else illegal, but I want to smoke a cigarette in a bar! (BTW, Palin can do whatever in the H___ she wants, but I guarantee you, she'll NEVER be POTUS).

MK I've read this forum for a long time and always had respect for you, until you went for Obama.
But you can't guarantee anything 4 years into the future.
One thing I do agree with you on is we should be
allowed to smoke in public places.

Clinton County should be ashamed. By what I saw on this Hearld site there was a possible 33,000 voters and ony 10,000 voted. For those 23,000 that did not vote I do not want to hear you complain about anything since you did not vote. If my count is wrong then blame the Clinton Hearld. That is pathethic to think only 1/3 of the possible voters voted, well below the national average. Even you Obama voter should be a higher percentage than that. I am disappointed.

I didn't see the 30% on the Herald site (unless you're referring to my since corrected post on another thread), but it was on the county auditor's site after the polls closed. That summary report showed 100% of precincts counted. I saw it there around 9:30 - 9:45 last night. After that time the figures were updated/corrected to now show 72.75%.

72.75% is a mighty impressive percent!

The auditor's current report is here.
