My son thinks it should be illegal for me to have a license to drive a car. The state of Georgia says for a renewal fee and an internet submission I can be legal for 10 more years. Now...if they allow THAT, fireworks shouldn't be a concern....

Make them legal that why I can teach my son how to respect these things without getting fined. I'm affraid one day he will be at a buddy's house who dont know his butt from a hole in the ground and he'll get hurt. Teach the kids safety and fireworks are a blast (get it). Some of my best times were going up to cleveland and buying up a bunch getting to set them off.

Regarding whether they're any manufactured here in the US or not, seems like I remember an explosion at an illegal fireworks factory a couple of decades ago in SE TN that killed some of the workers. The factory was posing as a "worm farm" if I remember correctly.
