RE: http://www.itemonline.com/local/local_story_102234849.html

In the past two weeks I've had 4 finches die in my yard. Three of them are pictured below. I've had a barred owl fly around during the day, bumping into branches, barely able to fold his wings when resting. By the next morning all that was left of him was a few feathers. It appeared he died and some scavenger drug him off.

I called the animal control officer, but he said they don't test birds and didn't know of anyone that did, even if I paid myself.

Has anyone else noticed puffed up, dirty faced birds around Walker County? Has anyone found dead birds?

This sounds like something very delicate to me, even dangerous. PLease contact your local County Health Dept. immediately.

Good luck

The birds found out they would be forced to attend Huntsville ISD and they just gave up. While I don't endorse their demise, they won't have to suffer the injustices of HISD's head in the sand approach to what is really wrong. Don't let dictator Montgomery see those birds out of dress code!
