The county better put forth a serious effort to deal with the old annex and this building, because lower deductibles will be nothing compared to settlements it will be paying to its staff and the children in the shelter. They should all be tested for mold, too. |

happyface,
Clark County's agent of record for health insurance Joe Olson may be a guy your county may want to talk to. We just reviewed and voted on our insurance package for 09, and only saw a 6% increase, that's unheard of in todays market where the industry is seeing an increase between 18 and 31%. As far as buying salt in the winter, that's like buying a boat in the summer. We used a company called BID BRIDGE in June that does an on-line auction with several companies competing in a reverse auction to get a price of I think $55 per ton. The guys name I deal with is Cory Masters. There on the web at www.bidbridge.net This is the second time we have used them and they have saved us a lot of money. I'd like to get all the cities and towns together next Spring and jointly purchase the salt we will need. If we buy as a large group we're bound to get a much better price. |
