I agree race shouldn't matter, but one cannot ignore the historic nature of a first black president.

But you also should not vote for someone just to make a "first". Don't get me wrong, I am voting for Obama, but not BECAUSE he could be the first black president.....please have better reasons for voting for him!!!!
