Let's face it, ANYTHING worth ANYTHING going into the vacant Townplace would be great. (Please no more banks!) This was supposed to become the new area shopping mecca and give Jeffersonville something to toot it's horn about. So far we have an empty building, dirt and weeds. There are many stores that would thrive there. Many stores that most of us drive to Louisville for. Macy's, any bookstore, Starbucks, Wholefoods and I could go on. "If you build it they will come" has not worked. A little recruitment would be nice. Is this a Jim Urban job? Perhaps that would be a better expenditure of his time than slamming local residents??

Too late... the L&N Federal Credit Union will be located next to O'Brady's.

Oh well, hopefully that will be the only one!

Looks like Beef O'Brady's has a sign now! Perhaps there WILL be actual business conducted there before 2010 (my original prediction)!!

Probably a Dollar Tree and a T-Mobile store...

L&N is supposed to open a branch there, but I haven't seen any motion on that part.

Maybe the Flea Market on Eastern Boulevard will open a second location?

Their new sign says "Now Open." Looked pretty busy as I drove by tonight.

I saw it either last night or the night before and it was jam packed.

Mmm ... wings. Granted, I haven't had Beer O' Beefy's wings, but, mmm ... wings.

I'm a BW3 devotee. Long live cheap wing Tuesdays, and boneless Thursdays — soon coming to Clarksville.
