This is in response to the letter submitted by Michelle Ross. I don't think that anybody should decide to vote against any candidate because of what his or her ancestors did over 100 years ago. Base your decision on what the candidate has done in his or her lifetime not what his or her great-great-great grandfather or grandmother did.

Do not hold Obama responsible for what his ancestors might have done either.

It's easy to find smears on either candidate. The writer has presented one point of view.

I agree, both Obama and McCain are fine upstanding men, it's not choosing between two evils, it's choosing which man you think will do the best job!
