Dennis Tellez was born and raised in Merced California. He attended Merced city schools and graduated from Merced High School. Shortly after graduation he proudly served in the United States Army. He loved being outdoors. He enjoyed camping, fishing and visiting Pismo Beach. He also loved to visit Yosemite National Park when he was in California. He has two daughters, Michelle and Karen from his first marriage with Sylvia Hernandez. He also has six grandchildren: Matthew Lee, Aylah, Alyssa, Apolonio, Diego and David. His presence will be greatly missed by all his family and friends in Merced. He was also preceeded in death by his beloved mother Lorenza M. Tellez.
