So I was out of town for part of the weekend, and came home to find my Monty Snelling for Commissioner sign has been stolen/removed from my yard. I have no reason to believe that Monty himself would remove his own sign so close to the election. So I'm supposing it was either 1) an Ed Meyer supporter, or 2) the person who hung the "Vote Democrat" flyer on my door.

Either way, I'm disappointed. What a petty act. And I doubt it was someone who was just stealing signs, as my neighbor's democratic sign was left alone.

Again, unfortunate, because I likely will or would be voting for both parties in the various races.

We had an Obama sign taken here as well. It's aggravating but what can you do.

probably your neighbor. Wink Get you a O'Bama sign up asap, because it is more likely to be stolen than a McCain sign Eeker, and put up a web cam.

More likely it was a campaign worker grabbing the sign from your yard so they could put them up at one of the polling places. It's a pretty common practice.

Speaking of that- why is it that I have to walk the gauntlet on the way to vote. No matter how many signs you have posted or how many buttons you offer me I am not going to vote for a canidate based off who has the best button. Did anyone else get Barron Hill's automated phone call tonight, 2 within 10 min. Can't wait till elections are over.

No gauntlet this morning at the (undersized for this election) New Progressive Baptist Church polling place. I didn't even get an "I Voted!" sticker. =(

I was really surprised that there wasn't anyone out this morning with candy, nail files, stickers, etc. trying to convince me to change my vote. The Dems must be slipping...

Well, the sign on the door of the NPBC said "No electioneering within 50 feet of polling place". So that explains why there was none at that location, since every parking spot is within 50 feet of the polling stations. Wink
