I was wondering if anyone could share the holiday past times that they use to keep the true meaning of christmas alive? In our house we have a birthday cake with candles for Jesus. We sing happy birthday and say family prayers as gifts to Christ. My child is young and we want to teach him the true meaning of the holiday is the birth of Christ and family togetherness. Any past times you can share would be great. Thanks.
What a nice tradition I think we often lose sight of what Christmas is really all about; thanks for the reminder!
