so I was at walmart the other day and realized they were playing christmas music already, this made me think of how commercialized the holiday has become. I was wondering if anyone could share the holiday past times that they use to keep the true meaning of christmas alive? In our house we have a birthday cake with candles for Jesus. We sing happy birthday and say family prayers as gifts to Christ. My child is young and we want to teach him the true meaning of the holiday is the birth of Christ and family togetherness. Any past times you can share would be great. Thanks.

our family still has our get togethers with our traditional italian xmas eve meal.well,ok,we have it the week before xmas,but it's still so special and I love being with my family.
