Cover Story: Barack Obama's Christian Journey

from Newsweek Politics ...

http://www.newsweek.com/id/145971

So much has been made about Barack Obama's religion. But what does he believe, and how did he arrive at those beliefs?

Rosa sat, so Martin could walk. Martin walked, so Obama could run. Obama is running, so our children can fly.

Good website weiner5, but unfortunately coach probably won't believe anything it says. It's scary the things I've heard from supposedly people I thought were intelligent about Obama. All it takes is a little time to find the truth online or in the papers, but some people would rather follow Fox News and Limbaugh and take it as the gospel truth. I've been real disappointed about the elections this year and it's seems impossible but the smear tactics can keep getting worse. I'm thankful the majority of the population are smart.

Totaly agree...

GEN. COLIN POWELL: "I'm also troubled by, not what Senator McCain says, but what members of the party say. And it is permitted to be said such things as, "Well, you know that Mr. Obama is a Muslim." Well, the correct answer is, he is not a Muslim, he's a Christian. He's always been a Christian. But the really right answer is, what if he is? Is there something wrong with being a Muslim in this country? The answer's no, that's not America. Is there something wrong with some seven-year-old Muslim-American kid believing that he or she could be president? Yet, I have heard senior members of my own party drop the suggestion, "He's a Muslim and he might be associated terrorists." This is not the way we should be doing it in America."

You know what? The way 'Christian' people treat each other around here is embarrassing, just as it's embarrassing that we harbor such ignorance in this town. You should be ashamed of yourself. Seriously. Do a little research. Be a little bit more informed before you spout off. It's really annoying when you don't.
