Though I'm happy Obama won (wish it was Hillary), I have to say that John McCain's concession speech was one of the most eloquent I've ever heard. What a class act! He can be very proud.

I thought it was nervy of Jesse Jackson to be seen at Grant Park tonight after the "overheard n-word" debacle.

I can't stand Oprah - I really can't.

I wish Oskaloosa had a Sonic so I could get an Ocean Water before going to bed happy tonight.

And lastly, I really think presidential election days should be federal holidays.

Ditto that McCain's speech was eloquent and gracious. I've never thought poorly of him and I respect him even more now. I admit to being a little amused by the sour looks on some of his supporters' faces while he was being so gracious and acknowledging the historical and cultural significance of an African-American presidency.
