This is a two part comment. First, why does Oskaloosa not have satellite early voting places? I heard there was one at the collage for a short time, but other towns have them at HyVee grocery stores, libraries, etc. Is there some reason we can't do the same?

The second comment Is about the political signs being taken out of yards. We have lost one and so have many of our neighbors. I do not care who you are voting for, everyone has the right to put a sign in their yard and should not have to worry about it being taken. These signs are not cheap and cost the candidates to have them printed. What a shame that this election year is so bitter, not only national but state and local.

What part of town and what signs were taken? I live out towards Penn and had one stolen too. Taking peoples signs in wrong no matter who or what side they are on. Voting is all about the freedom we have in this country and taking political signs is not only stealing it is denying freedom of speech!

I live in the southwest part of town. I think the signs are being taken all around town though.

I would like to have some of these yard signs in my yard, but don't know how to go about getting them. There used to be local REP and DEM headquarters in town, if there are now I don't know where and I have not been asked to place a sign in my yard by anyone? Maybe people are taking them to move them to their own yards? LOL not likely, but you never know what people might do.

Hey Bike Guy
The Reps. are in the old Herald Building up town and the Dems are kitty cornered across the street in the old Post Office Building. Don't know who to call on the Reps side, but you could call Tom Rielly's office or Eric Palmer's office for the Dems.
