According to the JPost, this was the first time in history a Rabbi has been invited to the Vatican to speak. Found this quite interesting, hats off to the Pope. This also falls on the heels of an earlier visit by Messianic Jews, I wonder if they may have contributed to this event? In any case, peraps it will lead to greater dialogue between Jew and Christian. Then again,perhaps the Pope knows something, or suspects something.
I think I have come across a tradition in Catholic teaching that there was an Irish Monk by the name of Malachi, I think, that had named all the Popes up to the time of the last days, and that there are 2 left to be named? Perhaps some of the Catholics on board might shed some more light on that.
all though I do not think organized religion is a good thing,I am catholic and made a vow to raise any kids I had so I go.I just do not open my mouth while there. The Irish guy did make a list of names I think most but not all popes use the list.there are only 2 unused ones left.but they reuse names like John the fist the second and so on.The link is to another forum they can but may not give a better answer.Catholics do not think we are in the end times,if that is what you are asking.
