God says church, do not be afraid to vote, do not be afraid to call out on the Lord and say, "Who have you chosen for this nation?" For God says, "I have given the people a choice." And I have seen the future ahead of me and God has placed in me a vision of America. And in this vision record numbers, record numbers in every state turning out to vote. God says, your day is coming your day is coming America where you shall say, "Worthy is the Lamb, worthy is Messiah, worthy is His saints." For don't you know that peace and prosperity and comfort is signs of the fruits of the Spirit. And God says listen now, the economy shall bend and break until the man I place in the White House comes! Then you shall see the rising of the economy again. I have used Nebuchadnezzar as My servant, I have used the Pharaohs as My servants and I shall use your President who you would call someone as of him. As a Pharaoh or as a Nebuchadnezzar. And I shall use him to fulfill My purposes on the earth, says the Spirit of the Lord. |

God says today Pakistan you are going to be a part of the capture of terrorists all around the globe, because you are going to be an alley. And God says if you do not we will come in and take them out ourselves! God says today Barack, Barack Obama, I have felt you, I have heard you, I know you and I know your heart. I am going to wipe out the impurities that are in there and make you a man like Solomon whose land increased and prospered and fulfilled and multiplied. The fact that John the Baptist and Paul were not materially wealthy, among others, proves that wealth is not a guarantee to believers.

John the Baptist came from a wealthy family most likely under Zechariah's house. It could be said of Jesus that he owned everything and yet had nothing. Their is nothing wrong with God blessing a wise and obedient person or family with wealth. As above ^ I believe God does not want to see his children suffer to make ends meat. Matthew 6:26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? When people are blessed by God, we should not think of them as non-believers just because they have been blessed for their good deeds and wise decisions. I don't believe in the con-artists that say get rich quick, but if I saw someone who lived under the authority of God, believe me God indeed wants to bless His children and provide for them. We don't need to go running around in the woods looking for locusts and honey to eat. If we understand that everything we have is God's and he can give and take at any time, we know that we are simply managing what he has already given us. Some want to be nazirites, others not, some want to be nuns or monks others not, some want to study and learn, others want to use their blessings to bless others, and I feel the more this is done the more he will continue to bless. Queen Esther, Lydia, all had roles in the faith. Wealthy but used it for a divine purpose. |

I notice you only quote OT promises of Prosperity, so do you live under the law or under Christ? Or are you perhaps one of those that choose only the things of the law that seem to be beneficial to you and deny the rest? This would make you a hypocrite like the Pharisees that Jesus spoke of. Are YOU financially rich? Perhaps you should share with some of the thousands of people damaged by hurricanes or those starving in other parts of the world. IF You do not work the NT says you should not eat. Do you believe the new Testament? Give to the needy, help the hurting, lead the lost, know the Master. |

A forum is different. It isn't 'live' where you have to grab something before it's gone. Your hubby's remarks to Bumpkinto will still be here when he has a chance to return from the priorities in life. Do try to be patient.  By the way, Bump, I agree w/what you say. GOD's promise to us of blessings isn't in earthly possessions. Granted, when we give monetarily we are blessed, but again, not always financially. This new age teaching of prosperity is one more walk further away from the true teachings of Christ. |

I had some questions for Joshua that I will repost because I would like to see a real answer from him, I hope this doesn't seem impolite to you do not mean to step on your ongoing discussion. I think it is difficult for those deceived by the "prosperity gospel" (which has nothing to do with the gospel) to answer the type questions I am asking because they are brainwashed to think that if they aren't rich, they just haven't "believed" enough to get rich. It has seemed clear to me all along that Joshua has made numerous attempts to deceive enough people to start getting money from them and his hopes for riches are based on making enough guesses that he finally gets one right that convinces people that he is a prophet of God and will give him money they way they do his heroes. Again I ask Joshua; Are your financially Rich? If you have millions of dollars, do you give to the relief and hunger organizations? Do you have any income other than what you can take from people or human services? Give to the needy, help the hurting, lead the lost, know the Master. |
