Just as the Obama campaign seemed to be making progress in tamping down rumors about his alleged Muslim background and that he might be a "Manchurian candidate" for the Arab-Islamic world, up steps the Rev. Jesse Jackson to upset the falafel cart.

Jackson, who doesn't speak for the Obama campaign and has no role in it, was in Evian, France, the home of the preferred water of Volvo-driving liberals, where he spoke with columnist and author Amir Taheri about what he thinks the foreign policy in an Obama administration would look like. Jackson said things would start to improve in an Obama administration because "decades of putting Israel first" would come to an end.

You know, it's interesting that Jesse would say this on the eve of the election. This seems weird because Obama is taking a gamble with Jewish voters, unless he thinks he has about all the Jewish voters he's going to get.

On the other hand, this could be a case of subterfuge, to make the Muslims think that should Obama be elected, he will "be on their side" a friend to them, perhaps a prelude to the way he will conduct foreign policy should he be elected. In other words, by playing the friend card perhaps they will be good little boys and not attack America anymore. If he is elected, and afterwards America is again attacked, he will have to admit to a failed foreign policy, which is my opinion is already a given. An what if he is a sleeper? Don't think it could happen here in America? It did in Germany, in a modern age. If Obama is elected, I would deem it as an act of G_d. Just to say the dominos are being put in place.

Ya'akov

The Jewish and Arab nations all have a purpose in God's Divine plan. So hey, why not put the blame on the Arab's?

Why do you think that Jews are being blamed?

Your comments are gross, and displeases God.

Look Jingle Bell,

All of God's people are important including Jews, Muslim's, Buddhists, and even that baby in the mother's womb.

I see your tackics, and I want to say I wonder what God would say with this type of message you are saying?

The eyes of the nation is Israel/Palistine and the are both brothers and need help seeing Messua.

Look this election is complete, God is looking for a few good men who will be respectful, patient, and peaceful. We don't want to do the types of things that have already been done, or a terrible thing will happen to you as the scales come off your eyes.

".....Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew.

Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn't speak up, because I was a Protestant.

Then they came for me, and by that time there was no one left to speak up for me."

Secrets, delve a little into the precepts of Islam. Not just the rosy feel-good verses, but the details. It won’t take long to realize that their version of morality is completely relative. They are only required to act in a moral fashion concerning other believers. When dealing with an "infidel" any act, including lies, murder, etc. are permissible … especially if it furthers the strength or spread of Islam. From my reading of many of their works, and in my humble opinion, the so called "extremists" are the more devout and the "moderates" are heretics.

If this opinion is true, the only way to deal with a devout follower of Islam is from a position of strength, or to be Muslim yourself.

Animal,

Islam is a religion, just like judiasm and buddhism.

I don't need to delve into Issa/lam because I know what I know.

Well, if you go on a trip to the Holy Land, please don’t put your trust in someone just because you believe they are one of "God’s people" , okay ?

But then again, it is the Jewish people that has a long history of persecution against them, the crusades, even upto the Holocaust. I don't see that degree of continued persecution with any other people. Why?

Hebrews 3:16-19 (NKJV)
For who, having heard, rebelled? Indeed, was it not all who came out of Egypt, led by Moses? Now with whom was He angry forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose corpses fell in the wilderness? And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those who did not obey? So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

Some of the Jews displeased God. Many have been very loyal to Him.

He picked them out of all people, not because they were displeasing, but quite the opposite. I realize that all of that is in the Torah, and some don't like it, but it is quite fascinating.

Numbers 14:30-32 (NKJV)
Except for Caleb the son of Jephunneh and Joshua the son of Nun, you shall by no means enter the land which I swore I would make you dwell in. But your little ones, whom you said would be victims, I will bring in, and they shall know the land which you have despised. But as for you, your carcasses shall fall in this wilderness.

Ducky, just who do you have a problem with? Jews in general or Ya'akov in particular? This thread is mostly enjoyable for me to visit because I learn things from Ya'akov.

What is your beef with him?
