Only legalize marijuna? Hell if we ever had a president with balls that would legalize all drugs then tax the hell out of them, we'd be doing awesome as far as the debt is concerned. The government controls Alcohol and tobacco, why not the rest.

I agree. If we could find a way to tax Marijuana at least, we would get some where. I personally would rather see someone smoke a little weed than drink or smoke cigarettes.

You're kidding right? Weed is still a drug. For one you're less likely to wipe out a family of four by smoking a cig in the car vs. having smoked a blunt or drank a bottle.

Marijuania is used to help people with chronic illnessess and cancer all the time. We give it in the ICU in pill form known as marinol. Also, I have yet to see an accident caused by someone that is high on weed. Drunks however have killed numerous people. Smoking cigs and driving is a distraction that has killed several people. I am not talking about smoking weed while driving. Yes, I am for legalizing weed.

I understand its used for medicinal purposes. But to make it legal will cause a whole new round of problems.

I think if we could work out all the legal aspects of it, tax it, monitor it and control it, it would be great. I don't know if it's possible.
