They may've said he was a dreamer, but he wasn't the only one. The patriot John McCain has joined the chorus for America to live as one country. Instead of citing all the problems & pitfalls that plague us, Americans can now imagine the possibilities & opportunities presented by this election of the People's President, Barack Hussein Obama.

JB, I have always admired your prose & now is no exeption. You have seen the qualities in Barack that have never been obvious to those around us because we come from a place whose people have little other world curiosity & fear what is beyone the boundaries of their small towns. Never mind those that ridicule your ideas because the world needs us as much as it needs them.

OK, OK, you've made your point and then some. I think everyone understands how you feel and what you're thinking. Now, try to state your case without using song lyrics. Calm down. Congratulations.

Can't disagree wi'choo anymore, Cat. Our generation enjoyed prophecies aplenty, but we have no troubadors anymore to describe What's Happened. Except for maybe Sly Stone or Mr Zimmerman, whose Times They Are A-Changin' of a sudden sounds positively passe. Remember, the last great round of pop-prophets popped out of President Kennedy's inspirational years.

Who, then, will be the Next Ochs & Lennon? Keep your eye on Kenyan Calypso.

Sorry -- but the only thing the Kennedy's inspired me to was: one could mess around with other women -- do away with them -- and you could get by with it. [but I think that only works if you're a Kennedy!!]

Ah, but that was Ted Kennedy of Chappaquiddick in 1969, OBSERVER, when all had already begun to unravel in America. We can agree that Teddy Kennedy shouldn't've been the Democrat nominee in 1980 (Governor Jerry Brown should've) for his inability still to this day to explain why what happened to Mary Jo Kopechne did.
