John McCain knowingly chose Sarah Palin as his running mate, & Sarah has baldfacedly stated that "nobody should go to jail" for participating in an abortion.
W/ that kind of permissiveness McCain/Palin seriously expect us to believe the GOP will stop being the party of Abortion (& Amnesty & Adventurism)? What do they think it will take to stop Abortion -- slaps on the wrist? If they want to impose Fines, they're not saying how much the government should charge. What other penalties other than jail time could be imposed -- points on the mother's or doctor's driver's license? The only reasonable conclusion for serious pro-life voters is that McCain/Palin are pulling our leg when claiming to oppose Abortion, just as we've seen the past thirty years of Reagan/Bush/Clinton/Bush. |

* In 1999 a gruesome discovery was made that an Illinois hospital was shelving babies to die in a soiled utility room who had survived their abortions.
* The Illinois Born Alive Infants Protection Act was introduced in 2001 to provide legal protection to all born babies, wanted or not, including the right to medical care. * Then-state Senator Barack Obama voted against Born Alive 4 times in 3 years and was the sole senator to speak against it on the Senate floor in 2001 and 2002. * In 2002, the Federal version of Born Alive passed unanimously in the US Senate and by overwhelming voice vote in the House. The pro-abortion group NARAL even went neutral on the bill. * But In 2003, Barack Obama voted against the identical version of Born Alive in Illinois. Then, for the next 4 years he repeatedly misrepresented his vote until it was recently discovered in the Illinois General Assembly archives. *************************************** Yes indeed it was recently discovered! The truth will set you free -- free except for the unborn babies that Obama is bound and determined to kill in the name of choice. Let’s face it: B.O. (Barack Obama) is part of the death culture. If given a choice -- and B.O. keeps driving home: choice -- B.O. chooses death. Death to unborn babies. It’s all death, all of the time for B.O. Even B.O. chooses death for his own future grandchildren. Here’s B.O. in his own words talking about his two daughters if they were to become pregnant: “But, if they make a mistake, I don’t want them punished with a baby.†For video confirmation, click here To B.O. a baby is punishment -- even with his own grandchildren. Is this B.O. nuts or what? In the name of “choice†B.O. prefers killing his own grandchildren. That’s crazy talk but what we’ve come to expect and hear out of B.O. It’s all death, all of the time for B.O. B.O.: the purveyor of death. It’s most fortunate for B.O. that B.O.’s mother was not a death advocate. Otherwise our little B.O. wouldn’t be here today. |

I've stated many times that the GOP never wants Roe V. Wade overturned because it's a guaranteed vote getter every election season. I actually feel sorry for people who believe that the Republican Party is the party of morals. If you believe that any political party is one & the same as religion then you probably also believe that only Republicans are true Americans. This is a sad state of our union that I can only hope will end someday.

You take away a womans right to choose, you will have young woman, possibly your daughters or granddaughtes laying in alleys bleeding to death from illegal abortions. I'm not saying I am for abortions, I am saying I am against taking anyones rights away.

In 25 states (not including Indiana), if a mugger jumps out and stabs a pregnant woman on her way to an get an abortion and kills the fetus, the mugger would be charged with homicide. Why the double standard?

I'm not sure why. I know in California that is not true. I suppose it depends on who makes the laws.

Homicide Laws
Just a few exerts. "the Code of Alabama to include "an unborn child in utero at any stage of development, regardless of viability" as a "person" and "human being" for purposes of the state laws dealing with murder, manslaughter, criminally negligent homicide, and assault." Alaska: "at any stage of development, who is carried in the womb." Arizona: The "unborn child in the womb at any stage of its development" is fully covered by the state's murder and manslaughter statutes. Illinois: The killing of an "unborn child" at any stage of pre-natal development is intentional homicide, voluntary manslaughter, or involuntary manslaughter or reckless homicide. |
