Oh now Nanny, it's not like we're talking about Al Franken - who we may be hearing MORE of. Eeker I'm speechless - those Minnesotans sure like to elect odd ones, eh?

The other guy was leading by 570 votes - you have to have less than 571 to get a recount, so it falls under that. Franken suggested there were some voter registration issues that may change the tallies. The recount will not happen til mid November and could go into December.

I heard there was a set of voting machines that kept tabulating Democratic votes for the Republicans. The state that had them sent them back and got new ones. Guess where the problem machines went.....Minnesota. They'll have lots of fun figuring out that mess if it's true.

Dang, guess they should have sent those machines to Florida and Ohio.

Dems win BIG and they still float election conspiracies.

Considering there's only a 570 vote gap - it's warranted to do a recount if there's suspicion something went wrong.

Dear ParosGearDown,
I said, "if it's true" meaning just that. Is your theory that the side that wins should not care about vote tabulation problems? I would think that all Americans should care when the process is tainted. Whether my party benefits or not, I am always upset when the will of the people is jacked with. Call me old fashioned, by I think all registered voters should get to vote, and their vote should be counted. The election/voting process in this country is beyond screwed up. We can orbit in space and process a person's DNA, but we can't figure out a safe and reliable method of voting, and that my friends is ONLY because there are those in power who do not want fair elections.

I didn't say they shouldn't recount - obviously, it makes sense and is the law.

I'm just surprised to learn of voting machines that somehow "know" what party the voter chooses and picks the Republican candidate. And then that someone would knowingly put them into operation. Do you have a news source for this amazing story or was it a forwarded e-mail?
