Working? Making a living during hard economic times? Don't worry. Obama says its okay to take the day off on election day. Then get yer butt back the next day to make money that can be taxed to pay for the new spending he's got ready. LOL.
Any of you Democrats like to confirm or deny that this was sent out via email to you?
I recieve LOTS of emails from the Obama Campaign as well as emails from Hillary. I have never gotten this one.
I don't really see a problem with encouraging people to get out and encourage others to vote. This is a very important election. I think that it is important for BOTH parties to encourage VOTING.

Honestly, politics aside, I would like to see election day made into a national holiday. While I have never been so encumbered (I'm pretty bullheaded so I don't let my bosses refuse to let me leave election day), I have known families who have had to work double shifts on election day and can't get out to the polls.
In other words, I actually (shudder!) AGREE with Obama on this one. If only the folks taking off work would vote!

I got an email from an old co-worker that is a staunch democrat. He is definitely one that is voting for Obama simply because there is a (D) following his name. His email stated that the Obama campaign was in need of volunteers. Now, what I thought was funny about his email was he started out with, "I don't care what party line you are with, or who you are voting for, but on election day, the Obama campaign is desperate need of volunteers". It did go on and say "take the day off to volunteer for the Obama Campaign".
It is out there and it is circulating.

We could put all the polling places at lakes.
