It is time to nominate someone for Pillar of the Plains.
Maybe I am wrong about this but in the past all the winners appear to be Enid's richest. I am sure they all did good works etc. but isn't it time someone who works hard at a job, isn't rich, takes care of a family, and does tons of work for Enid to win.
Lots of nominations for the same person should impress.
Now who is this special person, you ask?
Tammy! She cares for four children (all charming and well behaved, btw), has a loving husband, a full time, demanding job and
she does SOTS almost by herself
She is working on a Santa down town
She is involved in more then any one person knows.
I know she is always there for her friends and usually does moere then asked. She did some big time computer work for me when I needed her which helped folk from across the state to have a memorable weekend together. It would not have been near as successful without Tammy's hours and hours on the computer.
I am going to send in a nomination for Tammy and if you are one of the many she has helped personally or if you enjoy SOTS and if you are looking foreward to Santa on the square here is your chance to say thank-you by sending in your own nomination

I second that nomination!!! Big Grin

My vote probably doesn't count because I don't live there, but it's because of Tammy that I support SOTS from a distance by sending in $$ to the cause.

She's an inspiration for all she does, all she stands for, all she works for. There should be more folks out there like her. Enid would be a far better place for it and maybe a community I would then consider moving back to again someday.
