(AP) ― The man picked by the John McCain campaign to run the 2008 Republican National Convention resigns after a report is published showing that his lobbying firm used to represent the military regime in Myanmar...
Goodyear, chief executive of lobbying firm DCI Group, resigned a few hours after Newsweek posted a story posted online that the company was paid $348,000 in 2002 and 2003 to represent Myanmar's junta... Justice Department records covering agents of foreign agents that are required to register with the U.S. government show DCI signed a contract to work to "improve relations between the United States and Myanmar" and to act as the junta's public relations agent in Washington. Newsweek said the firm drafted news releases praising Burma's efforts to curb the drug trade and denouncing claims by the Bush administration that the regime engaged in rape and other abuses. http://cbs3.com/national/mccain.myanmar.junta.2.720998.html |

No but a vote for John McCain may be a vote to protect the thugs or the lobbyists of the thugs whose interests at times may be considered more important than the people (e.g. Exxon, FEMA Director Brown, Keaton, Haliburton, etc). |

How easy it might have been for you if you could have continued to debate with your own misrepresentation of my thoughts on this matter. Is there a GOP preschool that teaches the art of using the straw man fallacy as a cowardly rhetorical technique? |
