13,000 Christian Youth Pack Out Stadium for BattleCry NYC Teresa Neumann (February 11, 2008) "This altar is your space where you can come with any issue, any problem, any situation, any circumstance and God will wash you and forgive you and set you free." (Newark, NJ)—Over 13,000 Christian youth packed out the IZOD stadium last weekend to hear Bishop T.D. Jakes and others speak at BattleCry NYC, part of Recreate '08, a series of rallies hosted by Teen Mania in response to immorality in American culture. Speakers at the event reportedly cautioned teens to not reject mainstream pop culture but, but rather reclaim and "recreate" it. Some of the speakers included New York Yankees' pitcher Mariano Rivera, six-time Grammy Award winner Kirk Franklin and the David Crowder Band. According to a Christian Post report, Bishop Jakes shared a message from 1 Samuel 3:1-10, telling the young crowd that there are many of their generation who are like Eli or Samuel—either they can't hear God's voice, but they understand it or they can hear God's voice, but cannot understand it. "You know something's missing but you don't know how to fix it, so you start doing crazy things looking for answers," he said, noting that they serve a faithful God who will give them a new beginning despsite the past or mistakes they've made.. "This altar is your space," said Jakes as he welcomed teens toward the stage during the altar call. "Where you can come with any issue, any problem, any situation, any circumstance and God will wash you and forgive you and set you free." |

Rapper 'speaks life' to Aboriginal youth By Peter Biggs Rapper-Youth Pastor Reaches Canada's Aboriginal Youth with a Message of God's Love they Can Understand Aimee Herd (February 3, 2008) "Last summer we went right into the 'hood,' where gangs hang out," he recalls. "Well the Spirit started to move and I began to speak: 'You weren't born to deal drugs! You weren't born to be gang members!' I didn't know that 80 percent of the people there were gang members!" (Canada)—Rob Wilson may be better known by his Rapper name of "Fresh I.E.", but his message of hope to Canada's Aboriginal youth is clear. According to a report by CanadianChristianity.com (CC.com), Fresh is the first Hip Hop artist in Canada to receive a Grammy nomination for Rock Gospel. Though he is obviously talented in his genre of music, it's not fame he is seeking. "I can easily go to LA,"says Fresh, "but I know I am meant to be in Winnipeg to help my community. I have a strong desire to help those in the struggle." And help them, he does. Fresh reportedly has visited numerous reserves throughout Canada, over the past five years, and shares about some of the inspiring times when the Spirit of God moved on a gathering of young people. Fresh tells CC.com, "The greatest thing is to see the kids happy in a community where, for instance, the majority of young girls have been raped or abused. To see them smile and jump and have a good time is a miracle." FRESH I.E., the first Canadian hip-hop artist to be nominated for a Grammy for Rock Gospel, is often portrayed by the secular media as a 'gangsta gone good'. But the 35-year-old Fresh -- whose real name is Rob Wilson -- is motivated by more than just a desire for personal transformation. Gangsta gone good |

New Film About Jesus as Seen through the Eyes of a Woman (February 21, 2008) "The Magdalena film is a wonderful way to share with women everywhere that they are loved and valued by God." (Orlando, Fla.)—The same people who have turned JESUS into the most-translated film of all time have begun distributing a unique new translation of sorts with the U.S. release of Magdalena: Released from Shame. But instead of a different language, this film uses a new perspective to tell the Jesus story. Magdalena: Released From Shame is the story of Mary of Magdala, also known as Mary Magdalene, and what she may have experienced walking with Jesus of Nazareth during His public ministry. Through her eyes, this film portrays how Jesus values women by focusing on historical accounts of His interactions with them. "The Magdalena film is a wonderful way to share with women everywhere that they are loved and valued by God," said Jim Green, executive director of The JESUS Film Project. "Magdalena has already been shown in other parts of the world where women encounter violence and humiliation simply because of their gender. After test screenings in the United States we discovered that the Magdalena film can also be a very effective way to reach women here who may have never before considered the relevance of having Jesus in their lives." North Korea opens nuclear reactor to foreign media for the first time AP Friday, February 22, 2008 YONGBYON, North Korea -- North Korea opened its main nuclear reactor to foreign media for the first time Friday in a bid to show that it is complying with a disarmament accord to disable the facility. North Korea open's up Korea: Incoming South Korean President Says He Will Continue Reconciliation Efforts With North 2008-02-23 17:34 SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA "There is no reason for North Korea to be nervous about the launch of the new government," President-elect Lee Myung-bak said during a meeting with Singapore's former Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong in Seoul. "The basic thought of the new government remains unchanged, that South and North Korea should reconcile and maintain peace," he said, according to a statement released by his office. Lee, who takes office Monday (25 Feb), will be South Korea's first conservative leader in 10 years. He has vowed to continue to seek reconciliation with North Korea but in a way that brings more criticism to the process. His liberal predecessors gave unconditional aid and concessions as part of reconciliation efforts. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Secrets, |

And God said today He said many shall be watching the states of Ohio, Pennsylvania, Florida and Michigan, and God said these states will be looked on in ‘08’ as they are because your president who enters the white house will be consumed with the Holy Spirit and he will unite this nation.
Dems puzzle over primary redo Dems puzzle over Michigan, Florida By Martha T. Moore and Jill Lawrence, USA TODAY More than 2 million Democrats in Michigan and Florida cast ballots in presidential primaries held in January, but under party rules their votes didn't count toward picking a nominee. The Democratic National Committee (DNC) stripped Michigan of its 210 delegates and Florida of its 156 delegates to the party's August convention because the states scheduled their primaries before Feb. 5. The candidates promised not to campaign in those two states. USA Today |

God said March the 15th the atmosphere will change in Israel and the will say Yeshua, Yeshua, in the name of God they will say Yeshua. And March 15th God says he has something great and special planned for them.
Crowds Trace Jesus' Path on Palm Sunday By LAURIE COPANS – March 16, 2008 JERUSALEM (AP) — Thousands of Christians from around the world celebrated Palm Sunday by walking the path they believe Jesus rode on his donkey as he entered Jerusalem days before his crucifixion. The procession with the top Roman Catholic cleric in the Holy Land, Patriarch Michel Sabbah, started at the Bethphage Church, where tradition says Jesus mounted the donkey. Participants walked up to the Mount of Olives, then down to the ancient stone walls of the Old City. Marching pilgrims strummed guitars, some of them wearing "I love Jesus" shirts, as they braved unseasonable heat in the city. Palm Sunday commemorates Jesus' followers shaking branches to greet him as he entered Jerusalem. The festivities mark the start of Holy Week when, according to the New Testament, Jesus was betrayed by Judas, crucified on Good Friday and then resurrected on Easter Sunday. Even some Jewish Israelis joined the procession this year as part of a course they are taking called "Between Judaism and Christianity." In the courtyard of the Bethphage Church, their Hebrew speech mixed with the Arabic of the Palestinian teenage scouts from the West Bank city of Ramallah. AP |

This is another example of your "prophesy" not matching your "fulfillment". You said that "the atmosphere will change in Israel" and "March 15th God says he has something great and special planned for them", when in fact, the "atmosphere" is the same, and this event is the same as it has been every year for many many years. Guess what? It's gonna happen again NEXT YEAR! We can get really picky and dice out the March 15 vs March 16 thing, but this "prophesy" falls in the same category of all your February ones. You Missed It. |

Anything that grows 'can convert into oil' Company finds natural solution that turns plants into gasoline Posted: March 19, 2008 9:44 pm Eastern By Joe Kovacs But does he think it will make environmentalists happy? "They love this. We had one totally recognizable environmentalist from Hollywood say this is everything they ever had hoped for," Bell said. "This could be considered the ultimate recycling of carbon. We are using the energy of the sun through the plant. We're not introducing any new carbon [to the environment]." I knew this one was gonna hit your list, but you didn't mention the research into switchgrass, probably because it didn't fit your timetable (it's more than a year old). This is another twisting, and also something I feel will be a little scary. First, this comes out of Georgia, not hollywood, although if you can get a movie star to support you, you got it made cuz movie stars are always smarter than us folks. This type of research is more than 2 years old, and has been pioneered by Craig Venter http://www.ecogeek.org/content/view/1433/ , Amyris Biotech http://www.amyrisbiotech.com/, and LS9 http://www.ls9.com/ . This guy you bring up really scares me. I mean, anybody that says: "It dawned on me that that natural gas was methane." It "dawned on him"? How many times did he flunk high school chemistry? But here's the real scary part: "Through genetic manipulation, we've changed the naturally occurring bacteria,..." This sounds like the plot of an old Sci Fi movie. Man has a very bad track record when we alter the natural order of things to our own selfish needs. And the more they yak about gasoline, the less we think about electricity, where the best solution may be. |
