Hell, I'd be happy if the Chiefs pulled former MU QB Brad Smith off the bench in NY. He's been converted to a wideout, because NFL geniuses know that black QB's can't get it done. Roll Eyes

Smith was a threat to break loose with the ball anytime and threw well on the run. Might have put up Heisman numbers if dumbass Pinkel hadn't tried to make him an NFL-type pocket passer. If you put a kid like Smith behind an O-line the caliber of Gruenhard, Shields, John Alt and Dave Szott with a couple of backs like LJ and Kimble Anders, then you have a serious offense with the ability to put up big numbers. But if you are going to go with NFL has-beens and never were's like Huard and Croyle, which gives you no serious pass threat and only one guy who can run the ball--a YMCA team could put together a defense to shut you down. It isn't the Chiefs roster that sucks--it's the guy who put it together. Just die, Petersen. Soon..

Then they've had the wrong guy for about 30 years.

I don't mind sticking with the kid if he can become a seasoned franchise QB. My only fear is that Peterson will ship him if he gets too good.

DIE RAIDERS!!!

I can hate them again now that Rich Gannon isn't their (used to be OUR) quarterback. Only Carl Petersen could get me to root for the MFing RAIDERS!!!

True, I hated it when Gannon went to Oakland. I secretly wanted them to do good the next few years, and Gannon got them so close the immediate two years running running. I felt like we had it comming if they went all the way.

Tough game for KU last night. That rookie kicker just went from "squirt" "puppy" "Jr" to "The Man" in one giant step.

Same old Chiefs, same old excuses. Every year is next year. They got handled by a mediocre Oakland club. They stink, and Herm Edwards needs to update his resume. The defense sucks without Jared Allen, and the offense just plain sucks. Die Petersen--please. Put us out of your misery.

38-14! Way to run that defense, Gunther! But it isn't entirely Gunther's fault--you can't play good defense with a bunch of has-beens and never will be's. Tamba Hali couldn't carry Jared Allen's jock, and none of these guys should be playing at this level. Don't know where Petersen scrapes-'em up.

Have I made it clear I want Petersen to die? I'm considering starting a collection to hire a hitman. Mad

Hopefully, he will be gone by next season along with the coaching staff and most of the current players. And with the way they look now, they should have the first pick in next year's draft.

I don't know a lot about football, but wyandotte casino is having some kind of game where you can win money if you call the plays or some such...a friend of mine won 125 bucks this week because he called 14 out of 15 plays right. Don't sound like a bad deal. You might even be able to make some money on the teams you hate Wink

Always great to beat the Broncos and the Raiders, even if it is a meaningless game. But I will enjoy it more next week when Mizzou stomps Nebraska.
