We are proud to announce that Hey Martha has enabled a new tool for all registered members to utilize.
This new tool is the long anticipated "Ignore Option".
When people join a forum and start spouting childish post filled with personal attacks, name calling, or simply flooding a forum with multiple lame posts, you know the routine. Now, you as a registered member have the ability to ignore other members' comments. You will manage your own private ignore list.
To "ignore" trolls, brinkers, whiners, etc... simply click on their ID that tags along with their posts, pull down and select "Add 'screenname' to my ignore list" and poof....you will no longer have to read their lame posts. If people continue to post abusively, and enough registered members choose to add them to their "ignore list" then they will end up posting to themselves.
To manage your personal "ignore list" go to your profile and look on the left-hand side for "Ignore List" and click it to view your current ignored members and add or remove screen names.

Ah...How do YOU spell relief? No more witless Busdriver on my forum display. Not that I'm against dissent. I think well reasoned arguments are constructive and much insight can be gained from them.

I would think he and Larry (The Cableguy) Bryant is on everyone's ignore list. And hopefully when two or three dozen people have done so, the admin's will make them post to themselves - or at least that is what Sweeper stated.

Oh come on,
Old Larry is harmless. He only posts on his one topic. He never attacks or acknowledges any other poster. He is also a convenient benchmark for sanity. If you feel a lttle crazy, just read some of Larry Bryants posts and you will have a more positive perspective on your own mental health.

I don't think they will "make" them. I think what they meant was that if everyone is ignoring them then the ignored will be the only ones reading their posts. It would be cool that if someone got X number of ignores they'd be bumped from the forums altogether. (crosses fingers & prays a little pray)

That would lead to clique rules and BHF. Band together, coordinate and you could get a lot of people you don't like banded in a hurry. This is why the "Patriot Act" is so wrong. And, as expected, Bush is abusing power yet again!
