On the Waylon front, Live from Austin, Texas '78" will be released on October 28.

This was Waylon's first Austin City Limits appearance. The second, from 1989, was released a couple years ago as "Live from Austin, Texas".

And Dean Koontz' new novel, ""Your Heart Belongs to Me" hits the shelves November 25.

Reminds me of a story from Waylon's autobiography.

Waylon is at an awards show or something and he feels someone tap him on the shoulder from behind.

It's Billy Ray Cyrus, at the peak of his "Achy Breaky Bulls@@" fame.

He tells Waylon, "Mr. Jennings, you've always been like a God to me!"

Waylon thanks him and thinks to himself, "If I'M your God, what must your DEVIL look like"? Smiler

Dean Koontz. The unpretentious persons Stephen King. I love his stuff. People who dont like reading should be given a Dean Koontz book.
