Reminds me of a story from Waylon's autobiography. Waylon is at an awards show or something and he feels someone tap him on the shoulder from behind. It's Billy Ray Cyrus, at the peak of his "Achy Breaky Bulls@@" fame. He tells Waylon, "Mr. Jennings, you've always been like a God to me!" Waylon thanks him and thinks to himself, "If I'M your God, what must your DEVIL look like"?

This was Waylon's first Austin City Limits appearance. The second, from 1989, was released a couple years ago as "Live from Austin, Texas". I hate Austin. Bunch of damn liberals and government types.
And Dean Koontz' new novel, ""Your Heart Belongs to Me" hits the shelves November 25. Dean Koontz. The unpretentious persons Stephen King. I love his stuff. People who dont like reading should be given a Dean Koontz book.
