George Bush has been in office for 7 1/2 years.

A little over one year ago:
1) Consumer confidence stood at a 2 1/2 year high;
2) Regular gasoline sold for $2.19 a gallon;
3) the unemployment rate was 4.5%.
4) the DOW JONES hit a record high--14,000 +
5) American's were buying new cars,taking cruises,
vacations overseas, living large!...

But Americans wanted 'change'.
In 2006, Americans voted in a Democratic Congress and we got change.

In the past year:
1) Consumer confidence has plummeted
2) Gasoline has been up to $4 a gallon
3) Unemployment is 5.5% (a 10% increase)
4) American home equity has dropped by $12 trillion dollars
prices are still dropping
5) 1% of American homes are in foreclosure
6) as I write, THE DOW is probing another low;
$2.5 trillion dollars has evaporated from its stocks, bonds and
mutual fund investment portfolios.

The President has no control over any of these issues, only Congress does.

In the past two years - what has Congress done?

The Democratic candidate for President says he is going to give us change - that will be in addition to the Democratic Congress.

Eeker
It's all the Democrats fault!
Eeker
Can you re-post that e-mail from the Rush Limbaugh fan, or maybe one of those from that ATLAH guy that you have posted before? Those would go great with this one. You might check to see if Sean Hannity has anything you could post.
McCain needs all the "stupid" vote he can get. I'm sure these e-mails will convince enough simple minded morons to put him over the top. If they don't get your guy elected, at least people with minds that think will get a good laugh out of them.

LOL, Anne, please, you are killing us. You never seemed like the chain email type before, you always presented yourself with confidence and intelligence in your views.

Now you've entered "Stepford Wives" territory.

This chain email in particular is beyond the Brooks/Libertad silliness, beyond even Warrior territory.

You've reach full on Brak Territory.

Disappointing Anne, somewhat sad to witness.

The Republicans have got those votes in the bag. Heard this on the morning shows this morning while getting ready...the amount of negative ads ran by each candidate over the last 14 days

McCain - 100%
Obama - 34%

In other words, McCain hasn't run one ad telling people why they should vote for him in TWO WEEKS! I guess when you got jack and sh!t and jack left town...this is what you're left with.

Look folks..grow up. No one is going to ride in on their magic horse, wearing glowing armor & save our hides. Politicians do not go to Washington D.C. to serve the people; they go up there to serve themselves.

Yeah. It don't matter. So, let's just keep electing the really bad ones. Surely, one's not better than the other. Hell. Let's just not vote. That'll teach'em.

I guess the lesson here for Anne, and so many others gullible enough to buy into this type of BS is that if it comes in an email forwarded from someone and to hundreds of others and encourages you to pass it on, it probably isn't true.

Anne, I've got to ask, have you recently sent an African prince your bank account information to help him out with getting his millions out of the country?

What is more funny nursie is you and and others like you blaming Bush for everything from causing a hurricane to your last headache. Even more stupid is the opinion of you loons that the price of oil is determined by one man. Right. I have some ocean front land in Arizona you might be interested in nursie.

The facts Anne posted are no more not true than all the garbage floating around about Bush In fact, it makes more sense. The President writes no laws and makes no policy. Congress does that. Funny the financial world is breaking up when the news is reporting Obama will probably win. If I thought that was a for sure I would sell my mutual funds and stock also. That's what people are doing and why they are doing it. Just hope Obama doesn't have a Democratic congress as things will go further down the tubes. I'd trade a Republican legislature for a President any day.

By the way, Anne never makes snide or critical remarks at anybody. Does not suprise me, nursie, that you are your typical a$$hole self.

hmm, I didn't see where Anne posted any facts, she only posted ridiculous propaganda from a chain email that was shown to be false.

When she does post some facts, please, let us know.

she hasn't, and I know she is a very intelligent poster and seems to be a good all around person. That doesn't mean she won't get called out for posting a ridiculous propagandist chain email.
