Dearest Tru...I thought I'd stop by to let you know our 'Sailorman' aka Bill McBride has gone to live in Heaven with God...I remembered our lunch together when you were visiting and I believe he took you sight seeing that same day & I knew you'd want to know...he'd put up a good fight but his illness had gotten him down so God sent his Angels to bring him home early Sunday morning..We're all very sad in Meridian with his passing but we know he's alot better off and probably lookin down from Heaven to keep watch over us at the forum...

Saffy, I also left a message for Tru here with Thelma Lou, but still no word from him.
When we all met at News. Bill brought Tru to the get together & took him back to his motel after he bailed on Sandra, Sippy , myself & my daughter to go "Shook Juking" |

**Darn,why did i have to come in here---Saffy i was not exspecting this news and thank you for letting me know. Mr. Bill was a kind hearted great man,the city of Meridian has lost a real gem of a man.I really deep down in my heart thank God for allowing me to meet Mr. Bill.My prayers go out for his wonderful wife and family.  I'll pass it on Saffy. I am so sorry to hear of his death. I don't remember hearing of him though. Its been so long since I have been there. How sad it is to bring us all out to hear of a death. We should all be here to love each other every day. Hugs and some White to all of you!  |
