that he knew the first thing he must do is to make shelter for himself from the elements and what ever awaits him in this vast forest. There were so many strange sounds that were new to him. He really could not remember how he came to be here... he just knew he was alone and scared, but he had a feeling THIS place is where he was meant to make his home.

... been more attentive when his father shared his vast knowledge about beautiful maidens with him. He would lay under the forest canopy for hours as his Dad told tales of love found and love lost. Tales of deception. Tales of the best hammocks in the forest to find the many delicacies of the Ochlocknee.

The little kitten was in awe of his father, a truely great tiger. He had always hoped to make his father proud. As he grew, his memories of his father led him.

As he timidly walked around his new domain, the teachings of his father seemed to return to his inner instincts. Yes. This will do fine.
He wants to make his father proud of him. He will be worthy of the name his father gave to him. TRUISAM.
Tonight, Truisam will venture out from the bed of willows and cattails at the rivers edge in search of food. The waters of the Ochlocknee River will substain the life giving liquid that he requires for his survival. But now, he must find food to quiet the loud rumbling in the pit of his stomach.

The tiny field mouse squealed with fright. He darted under the lush green ferns on the forest floor. His life flashing before his eyes. Would this be the moment he had been warned about. Peeping from under a leaf, he sees the largest house cat ever. He can't believe his eyes. Blinking only makes the beast larger.

Truisam knows the tiny field mouse would hardly be enough to substain his hunger. He slowly, went into a crouch position, as the hairs on his neck were standing on end. The fire in his eyes were becoming more brilliant the closer he came to the mouse. Slowly, slowly he moved with the precise movement as only a magestic cat can move. His heart racing as he came nearer to his prey.
the tiny mouse felt as if his heart would beat out of his chest. But he knew this time he may not be able to hide from his fate. He moved backwards trying to escape the great claws of Truisam. The mouse backed into a tree root larger than he is. He started to panic! breathing hard he tried to run to the right of the tree. A strong paw blocked his path! He turned to go to the left. But.. to no avail. Truisam had him in his paws.
Truisam quickly ripped the mouse head from the tiny body. Blood streaming down the jaw of Truisam, he ate the body of the mouse. All that was left was the white fur of the field mouse, lying in a pool of blood that was quickly soaking into the forest
floor.
Surprising himself on his gallant hunt, he started to clean himself of the blood from his prey.

As young Tru just about to get finishing his cleaning duties the sunlight sparkling on the waters of the Ochlocknee cought his attention and he thought to himself how warm and fresh the water looks streaming over the rocks, but he had thoughts of his father running through his newly young mind ( remember my young cub never go into the waters,Tru my cub that's how we lost your mother. Tears streaming down Tru's whiskers he turn back to the forest trail.
