The Shrimp Festival is this week at Gulf Shores, Alabama.
Give it a thought, it's tons of fun.

Lots of fun and plenty of good food, especially if you like seafood. It also boasts a huge gathering for arts and crafts lovers as well.You can find almost anything: clothing, jewelry, lots of art of all varieties, etc. It promises to be a fun weekend, good weather, and no sign of any tropical depressions!!

Hubby has always worked there during the shrimp festival and last year we made a vow that we would make it a priority to go, but dadgumit....he got transferred to the Miss. Coast so we can't go....however, this week is 'Cruising the Coast' so he is still in hog heaven.
I, on the other hand, wanted SHRIMP!

Cloud, You can do both; my hubby does. He leaves the Shrimp Festival and cruises over to Ms Coast for the car show. Not a bad trip at all.

I know, but in between I have to figure out work, kids, the car races this weekend, and yada, yada, yada..


Personally....I wish someone would just force me in a car and point blank force me to the shrimp festival~

I leave Thursday at noon, north of you in Clarke County. Just point the way to your abode and I will commandeer you to G.S.

Cloud, you and G are right on my way. Clarke County down to 45 to Mobile, and beyond. Just wear some sort of sign so that I will know you. Wouldn't want to pick up strangers, right?

Cloud, my hubby and I will be on the coast this week. Hubby is there now with his 37 Chevy and I'm flying down tomorrow night.We have alot of friends that will be there and it should be loads of fun.

FD, He told me last night the RV park he is staying at has lots of classics staying there also with Lauderdale County tags.

Of course, I know you are in Georgia.
