i was out exploring around my hotel today and ran up on something called bayou land around the interstate and the road that comes in from 45. there is a drive in theatre on the property. anyone know anything about it? what was out there at bayou land? whats out there now? what led to its demise? anyplans for the property? it was too overgrown and the fence was intact so ididint go on the property just wondering whats out there. thanks

It was a children's amusement park years ago, and it was next to the old Royal Drive-In. Some of our more "seasoned" members can give you plenty of details, I'm sure.
is there anyting out there other than the gate? i wonder wht was out there. i didint go past the gate, didint have time to get arrested for tresspassing. just wondering.
i had read somewhere on here that a poster had said they woudlnt go in there unless they were packing. wondered if any of the buildings or roads or trails were in there. wouldnt go somewhere dangerous that wuld require a firearm. and as nice as the jail in meridian is i woudlnt want to spend any time there by tresspassing
