Did we really need to have a story about a guy masturbating to be the top story on the front page of the paper Friday? I think it's sad that the paper thinks this is "need to know" news that children could have read.

They could have just said he was arrested after an incident in the dressing room but they had to tell the whole story how he masturbated into the lingerie and took it back to the clerk after he had relieved himself. Just another example of how we have desensitized ourselves to everything.

It troubles me greatly that the police were not able to verify if he was on the sex offender database or not. Police officers should have rapid access to this information, especially when they are away from the station.

You are right. The paper has really gone downhill the past couple of years. Did you see the story on the cat that climbed a tree?
