Following the results from North Carolina and Indiana, And with apologies to Senator Seuss,
“The time has come, the time is now. Hillary R. Clinton, will you please go now? You can go by car, you can go by bike, You can go by drike bike, if you like. Hillary C., I don’t care how. Cillary H. will you please go now? You can go by bus or train or jet. Just go. Go. GO! Yes, get. Get. GET! Because… We won’t vote for you here or there. We won’t vote for you anywhere. Not in a tree. Not in the rain. Not in the dark. Not on a train. Not in a field. Not on a hill. Not with Chelsea. And not with Bill. We do not like green eggs and (Rod)ham. Oh, so sorry, Hiilary-I-am!”

While I hate to admit it and I still think Senator Clinton is the best bet for the fall, I think she must throw in the towel for the sake of the party. The fat lady has sung and we should turn out the lights.
While I wish it were true, I agree with George McGovern that the time has come for her to get out of the race for the good of the party and the country.
I don't mind if she stays in the race until June 3rd but she must stop the negative attacks against Senator Obama. At this point, they no longer help her and only give aid to Senator McCain. Run out the race with decency and respect and her legacy will not be irreparably damaged, I think.
I suppose I agree with the Rabbi here. She can finish up the remaining contests but she should not do anything that will benefit John McCain in order to try to win a nomination that she won't be able to get.

As a Clinton supporter, I thought she was washed up after Indiana but since she will fight on, so will I. And, as far as not going negative, Rabbi K, I am afraid that that is her only option. She must continue to damage Obama so that she can get the superdelegates. Why else continue the race? She doesn't want to be running mate for a fall loser. Her first concern should not be her party or the fall election but herself; that is what it means to be a politician in America.
