I found this review on Amazon and just had to share it. I'm looking into finding some smoke bombs to get some gophers out of the many holes in our backyard. Once they come out I'll take good care of em with my Crossman Phanton. But anyhow - here is the humor:
Clears out a McDonald's real good, November 29, 2005 By Mark Mauer (Los Angeles, CA United States) - See all my reviews I set one of these off inside the restroom of a McDonald's restaurant in central Illinois several years ago. I didn't stick around to see how bad it smelled, and I'm not sure if it killed any rodents inside the McDonald's, but it sure did cause some trouble. They opened all the doors, and put fans there to blow out the smoke. Someone reported us to the cops, and eventually we got in trouble and had to fill out police reports. We didn't do any time though. So take that McDonald's. I'm only giving these rodent bombs four stars because it didn't cause the McDonald's to close entirely. They just moved the senior citizens to the other end of the restaurant and kept feeding them Nuggets. I'd give the local coppers about 2 stars though. It took them a good 2 or 3 days to find us, even though it was a small town and we were all in the phone book. |

Hilarity indeed. I've used those myself while trying to get rid of some pocket gophers - although they had way too many holes to get a good smoke going. I recommend sticking to the round smoke balls you can get around the 4th of july.

Had a Dodge van that smoked alot. We use to run a hose from the tailpipe into the gopher hole. Worked great. Also, neighbors had a chimmney full of bats. Ran a hose from the van into the base of the chimmney and they came out. Save your money, just find an old smokey beater.
