I'm under no delusion that McCain is definitely going to win, I would "rather" him win. I'm not his biggest fan but he's the best candidate of the two.
So I'm starting to prepare myself mentally for Obama possibly being in the White House. What do you think we have in store for us if he wins? •If he pulls us out of the middle east does Israel attack Iran on their own and an all out war takes place and Iran shuts off ALL oil shipping routes? •Does he raise taxes What else? |

You must be rich and can afford higher taxes if you are for McCain. I think Obama will win.

I think that if Obama is in the White House, he pulls back from Iraq, Israel will attack Iran and all our oil will be gone...and we'll be okay because Obama is for building alternative ways for supplying energy. Whereas, McCain is not. So with McCain we'll still be spending 10 billion a month in Iraq, Bin Laden will still be scott free and were still dependant on oil.

You are going to pay more taxes under Obama than McCain. Obama is going to cause healthcare costs to rise plus all those welfare families are going to get a bigger free ride. Its going to be worse than ever. Socialism here we come. So much for fighting communism.

He will have a gradual withdrawal of troops from Iraq and an emphasis on Afghanistan, which is where the people who attacked us on 9/11 were based and supported, and who are recently resurgent there. He will LOWER taxes for taxpayers under $250,000 annual income, and seniors making less than $50,000 will not be taxed at all. www.barackobama.com/issues |

You ARE aware that McCain has proposed TAXING group health insurance benefits as income? This has never been done before. So, for example, if you work at Chrysler, your health insurance benefits will be taxed as ordinary income. Does ANYONE think that is a good idea??? Proud supporter of Barack Obama, 44th President of the United States of America |

Speaking as someone who buys their own Health Insurance with AFTER-TAX dollars. I guess I'd have to give this one a definite YES!. Why should some get $10,000 + of monetary value tax free? Since McCains plan also comes with a healthy deduction...$5000 I believe, it softens it quite a bit. Besides, Obamas plan is designed to do exactly what just happened to the banking industry. Mandatory participation and mandated acceptance by the Insurance Companies is just going to bankrupt the insurance industry. Then Congress can run in again to "save us". This message has been edited. While I have my opinion and preference, what I really want is a clear winner. I want one of the canidates to have a good margin of victory indicating the public is giving them a mandate to govern the country.
Then there is no excuse for them to screw it up saying we were not behind them. |

Just FYI, Obama passed a bill in ILL that abortion can be preformed on second and third trimester pregnancy's, which is partial birth abortion-if that baby is born and is breathing that mother can decide if she wants to let that baby live, if she says no that baby will a be literally left in a corner to die. I personally was on the fence with whom I was voting for, after I researched Obama and his aborton policy's I have made a firm decision.

McCain is for developing alternative energy. The main difference on energy between Obama and McCain is that McCain has committed to drilling domestically in the outer shelf while Obama will not. McCain is very supportive of nuclear energy, but Obama says nothing about nuclear energy on his website. I think Obama is behind McCain on energy. |

This was not the kind of news I wanted to wake up to this morning:
http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/10/02/mccain-cancels-...pears-concede-state/ According to this source, McCain has conceded Michigan to Obama. Other key states Obama is either slightly ahead or tied with McCain. I was hoping that with Palin the campaign had made a great turn around for McCain. Also, I am wondering where Obama was able to raise so much money? Tis a sad day in America.. |
