RE: http://www.flyergroup.com/webnewsfirst/local_story_154151314.html
As the mother of this poor child who lost her life due to negligence on the part of Revel and Underwood's (neighborhood association) and there failure to secure the pool after numerous complaints from neighbors. I want to try and make it a law that swimming pools be fenced and protected from children's curiosity. Please contact your local representatives and push for this to become a law. In the honor of my poor baby. Please help! |

No question — this should be a law. The people who own that house should be held accountable, although even that is little consolation.
Deepest sympathy in the loss of your angel. |

I understand a neighbor has taken it upon his self to purchase a pump and drains the water out of this pool. God bless you - my neighbor.
Today, I notified the office of Mr. Greg Steuerwald to please help us protect our children and empower the local police and sheriff who have the authority to approach, investigate and secure these abandoned properties with hidden dangers. In rememberance of Sheyenne, let us all become mindful neighbors. |

Our Neighborhood Association adopted you have to have a fence and keep the ladder up with a lock on the ladder 3 years ago. It's in our CC&R's. It can be a State law as well.
